I Description of property
This multi-structure apartment complex consists
of 19 dwelling structures, a pool building, main office and model
apartments.
II Description of problem
All buildings in this complex were heavily occupied
by colonies of free-tailed and evening bats.
|
III Method used
Using booms and ladders, our crews split the work duties.
One crew, using booms for access and speed, installed
the exclusion flaps to all of the window wood frames.
Once the bats were gone, they installed tube-like devices
to the spaces in the frames to keep the bats out.
|
 |
 |
The second crew inspected and serviced all of
the gable vents, ridges, peak fascias, soffits and stairwell
roof gaps. |
IV Unique attributes of project
There were 608 frames, each having 4 sides. This
equaled 2400 areas.
Using 2 crews, the job was completed in 7 working
days.
