I Description of property

A lovely home with a cedar shake roof, 14 ridges, 7 gables and 4 flashing areas.

II Description of problem

There were plenty of holes and entry spots on the roof and under the rain gutters. Free-tail bats and an extremely large quantity of evening bats had made homes in these areas.

III Method used

Our staff installed exclusion flaps over the entire ridge area, sealed the holes and net-tubed the gutter ridges. We successfully excluded all the bats and sanitized the entire roof area.

IV Unique attributes of project

During the inspection, a visual sighting of a rare "albino" free-tail was confirmed. Although it was tempting to capture the bat, our main goal is always safe, humane exclusion, with as little stress to the bats as possible. We simply left the bat so that it was able to relocate with the rest of the colony.

V Project duration

Bat free in 7 days.
