I really enjoyed your website. It is extremely well done. I own
an Amish built barn that is 110 years old and houses hundreds of
wonderful bug-eating bats. The barn is being restored and sided this
summer. I hope with your advice I might be able to get the bats to
move out and still stay on the property when their current home is
no longer available.

We were looking for information about bats and relocation. We discovered at least 30 living in our attic today we want them to move from our attic to other areas around our house. You site was very informative and funny too. The story about Lily was very touching. I wish you were located in Georgia so that you could help us with our problem. Thanks for all your insight.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful work you do for the bats of Florida! They are truly wonderful creatures, and I hope that your education outreach programs are able to educate kids (and adults!) more about how helpful bats are to use humans.
...And I wish there were more pictures of Lily, your mascot! :)

I have recently moved into a 1830 farmhouse. Sitting outside one evening about 8:45 pm, we counted about 90-100 bats leaving the side of our house. They live under our siding, above our extra bathroom. I was really terrified. After searching the internet, and finding your website, I understand them a little more. I believed every myth ever told. Now I know some facts. Thanks..

I have always loved bats. I watch alot of nature shows and they always make
bats seem like wonderful little creatures. My husband and I have a group
of about 25-30 living in our eve on the east side of our home. We think
they are big brown or little brown bats. We have done some research and
have come to the conclusion that we are going to leave them alone for
while...atleast through the summer. We love sitting out on our deck and
watching them scour our yard....We heard that they can eat 600 to 1000
insects in an hour!!!!!!!!! Anyways, kudos from Georgia!

This past weekend while staying in a motel room in Casey Key we
saw a news clip about the "Batman". Our family has been very interested
in learning more about the natural pest controllers. A couple years
ago we camped with the boy scouts at a zoo and they told us some of
the same interesting facts as your news clip. We came home and built
a large "condo" sized bat home. However we haven't had any new tenants.
Thanks for your web page and ideas. We needed some of the info you
gave that just can't seem to find anywhere else. Send us your email
address & we will send a picture of our bat box.
