of Bats Mission Statement
FRIENDS
of BATS mission is worldwide conservation
and protection of bats, and their habitats; the rescue and
rehabilitation of local orphaned and injured bats; and when
needed, lifetime sanctuary for bats unable to be returned
to the wild.
Our objective is to raise public consciousness by education
(especially children) about the positive ecological impact
bats have on our environment, with special emphasis on the
bats of Florida.
FRIENDS
of BATS does not condone the sale of bats,
the use of bats for research, or inhumane exclusion of bats.

 Bats
are disappearing at an alarming rate from habitat loss, extermination,
excessive pesticide use and human disturbance. Bats need our
help!
At FRIENDS
of BATS,
the safety and protection of bats is our first priority. However,
we do understand the importance of the customer's desire to
remove bats from their home or business structure. By choosing
